The DGAs also influence federal policies and regulations, clinical practice and health professional education, food marketing, industry formulation, and individual food choices. The 2025–2030 DGAs were introduced in January 2026 as “the most significant reset of federal nutrition policy.”1 They represent progress in some areas but raise concerns about transparency, internal consistency, practical implementation, and ignoring of key scientific evidence. aMEDICINA CLÍNICA GENERAL aGASTROENTEROLOGÍA aENDOCRINOLOGÍA aPEDIATRÍA aDIETA aNUTRICIÓN aPOLÍTICA SANITARIA aHu, Frank B. 0 022717dMassachusetts NEJM GroupoNEJM013tThe New England Journal of Medicine wESSALUDx0028-4793
