La investigación inicia con la evolución del constitucionalismo social peruano desde la Constitución de 1920 hasta la de 1993, identificando los principales mecanismos de tutela judicial, entre ellos la acción de amparo y la acción de inconstitucionalidad por omisión, empleadas para corregir la inacción normativa del Estado. Se ha utilizado un método de investigación cualitativo y jurídico-comparativo, pues se contrastan los modelos de protección de derechos sociales en distintos países Iberoamericanos, destacando la tutela efectiva en Colombia mediante la acción de tutela, las limitaciones del recurso de protección en Chile y la amplitud del juicio de amparo en México.  aTh is paper examines the constitutional protection of social rights in Peru and compares it with the constitutional systems of Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. The research begins with the evolution of Peruvian social constitutionalism from the 1920 Constitution to the 1993 Constitution, identifying the main mechanisms of judicial protection, including the amparo action and the action of unconstitutionality by omission, used to correct the State's normative inaction. A qualitative and legal comparative research method was used, contrasting the models of social rights protection in different Ibero-American countries, highlighting the effective protection in Colombia through the tutela action, the limitations of the protection remedy in Chile, and the broad scope of the amparo proceeding in Mexico.
